It was a typical fall day for football and the U12 Rockets came up with a big win in front of our home crowd.

 

The Rockets came out strong in the opening drive when George Rodgers hit Jake Palm for a 30 yard pass. Then, with some great blocking by Luke Zannino and Joey Cardarelli, it allowed Zachary Lindmark a 12 yard run for a touchdown. Jake Palm's kick cleared the uprights for the extra 2 points.

 

The defense came out strong with Owen Sinclair, Jeremiah Sanford, Will Chute, Jake Whitmer, Brady Comenos, Robert Savio, Adrian Mackey, Quinn Yandle and Brandon Lamontagne shutting down their offense in the first quarter.

 

In the second quarter, Rodgers tossed to Ryan Pulpi for a 40 yard touchdown run. Our defense stepped up big again and we got the ball back. Palm gave a nice fake to score a touchdown on the 11 counter. 

 

Once again, our defense which consisted of Jack Murphy, Aidan Gomez, Sean Green, Joey Cardarelli, Alexander Witham, Thomas Lafferty, Nick Zannino, Jaiden Caskey and Zachary Labriola was phenomenal throughout the 3rd quarter. 

 

Our defense continued to step up in the 4th quarter and with just seconds left in the game, Zachary Lindmark, sealed the shut out with an interception in the end zone and ran it back 50 yards to end the game.
